The Juniper ACX7024 is a compact 1U, industrial-rated cloud metro access router with a temperature-hardened design, 360 Gbps of throughput, twenty-four SFP28 ports and four QSFP28 ports with 1GbE-to-100GbE flexibility. Juniper positions it for Ethernet business services, residential access, and 5G mobile deployments. It runs Junos OS Evolved, supports Synchronous Ethernet, PTP, and Class C timing with 1-PPS and 10-MHz GPS ports, and is ordered with one or two 400 W AC or DC power supply modules; two modules give full power redundancy. Six system fans provide redundant front-to-back cooling.
Same ports and throughput. The ACX7024 is the industrial-temperature model; the ACX7024X is the commercial-grade model with higher RAM and CPU capability, offered only in the two-PSU configurations. Both are the natural current-generation successors for ACX2200/ACX2100-class access sites now that those models are past Juniper’s last order date.

Per Juniper’s hardware guide the ACX7024 is an industrial-rated (itemp) router with a temperature-hardened design; the ACX7024X is a commercial-grade router with higher RAM and CPU capabilities. Ports and throughput are the same.

Juniper has not published a named replacement in the EOL table we read, but the ACX7024 is Juniper’s current compact access router in the same role, with 1GbE to 100GbE ports and Junos OS Evolved.
