Juniper positions it for secure, high-end service aggregation, large enterprise, and top-of-rack spine-leaf data center roles. It runs Junos OS Evolved on a 2.9 GHz six-core Intel CPU with 64 GB of memory and two 100 GB SSDs, supports Class C timing and the major ITU-T timing profiles, carries 1-PPS and 10-MHz GPS timing ports, and ships with two redundant 1600 W power supply modules (AC or DC) and six dual-rotor fans in front-to-back airflow.
The ACX7100-32C is the 100G-dense member of the ACX7100 pair; the ACX7100-48L trades 100G density for forty-eight 10/25/50GbE ports and six 400GbE uplinks.
