The RE-S-1800X4-32G-R is a crucial routing engine for modular Juniper MX-Series routers. It is required to run many of Juniper’s newer MPC’s, such as the MPC4 and MPC5 line of modular concentrators in MX240, MX480 and MX960 routers. This routing engine has a Quad Core 1.8-GHz processor, 32GB of memory, 4 GB of flash memory and a 32GB solid state drive. It can be paired with the SCB, SCBE, SCBE2 and SCBE3.
