Three FPCs are offered: the JNP-FPC-20Y (twenty SFP56 ports at 1/10/25/50GbE), the JNP-FPC-16C (sixteen QSFP28 ports at 40/100GbE with 4x25G and 4x10G breakout), and the JNP-FPC-4CD (four QSFP-DD ports at 400/100/50GbE, slots 1 and 5 only); all three carry inline MACsec on every port. Juniper sells it as ACX7509-BASE (one Routing and Control Board, one Forwarding Engine Board, two 3000 W power supplies in 1+1) or ACX7509-PREMIUM (two RCBs, two FEBs, four power supplies in 2+2) for full redundancy. It supports Class C timing and the major ITU-T timing profiles, runs only Junos OS Evolved, and is positioned by Juniper for 5G and cloud metro architectures in service provider, data center, web, and enterprise networks.
