The Juniper ACX5400 Series is the Junos OS generation of ACX metro aggregation routers. The ACX5448 is a 1U router with 800 Gbps of throughput, forty-eight 1/10GbE SFP/SFP+ ports and four 100GbE QSFP28 ports, six-core Intel CPU, 32 GB of memory, redundant 650 W power supplies and six fans in AFI or AFO airflow; the ACX5448-D adds two 200G CFP2-DCO coherent ports and the ACX5448-M adds MACsec. The ACX5448 is not on Juniper's ACX end-of-life table as of September 2026; the earlier ACX5048 and ACX5096 reached last order on December 31, 2022 and end of support on December 31, 2027.
