The Juniper PTX10003 Series is the 3U tier of the PTX packet transport family, designed for space-constrained internet exchange locations, remote central offices and embedded peering points. The PTX10003-80C provides 8 Tbps with up to 16 x 400GbE or 80 x 100GbE ports and two 3000 W AC/HVDC power supplies; the PTX10003-160C provides 16 Tbps with up to 32 x 400GbE or 160 x 100GbE ports and four power supplies. Both run on Juniper ExpressPlus silicon with line-rate 10, 25, 40, 100, 200 and 400 GbE and inline AES-256 MACsec up to 100 GbE line rate, and neither has a Juniper end-of-life announcement as of September 2026.
