The Juniper PTX10001 Series is the 1U tier of the PTX packet transport family. The PTX10001-36MR delivers 9.6 Tbps from 24 x 400GbE QSFP56-DD and 12 x 100GbE QSFP28 ports on Juniper Express 4 silicon, with inline MACsec on all 100G and 400G interfaces, a 12-core routing engine with 64 GB of RAM, two 3000 W power supplies and Junos OS Evolved. It is sold as PTX10001-36MR, PTX10001-36MR-K (adds TPM 2.0 with DevID) and PTX10001-36MR-LT. The earlier PTX10001-20C and PTX10001-36C reached end of support on December 31, 2024; the PTX10001-36MR has no Juniper end-of-life announcement as of September 2026.
