Juniper ACX Series: Metro, Access, and Aggregation Routers

The Juniper ACX Series is Juniper's line of metro and access routers. The current ACX7000 family (ACX7024, ACX7024X, ACX7100-32C, ACX7100-48L, ACX7332, ACX7348, ACX7509) runs Junos OS Evolved and is built for 5G transport, Ethernet business services, metro aggregation, and edge computing, with Class C timing, 1-PPS/10-MHz timing ports, and inline MACsec on most platforms. The earlier ACX5448 (Junos OS) remains a compact 1U 10G/100G aggregation router, and the ACX2200 and ACX2100 are fanless access routers now past Juniper's last order date.

BrightStar Systems supplies ACX routers on a request-for-quote basis. Every unit we supply is tested on our 9-point process and covered by our 1-year in-house warranty for end users.

Which ACX?

ACX7024 / ACX7024X: 1U, 360 Gbps, 24 x SFP28 + 4 x QSFP28; ACX7024 is industrial temperature rated, ACX7024X is the commercial version with more CPU and memory. Access and cell-site roles.
ACX7100-48L: 1U, 4.8 Tbps, 48 x 10/25/50GbE SFP + 6 x 400GbE QSFP56-DD. Metro aggregation and edge compute.
ACX7100-32C: 1U, 4.8 Tbps, 32 x QSFP28 + 4 x QSFP56-DD, MACsec on all ports. High-end service aggregation and spine-leaf.
ACX7332 / ACX7348: 3U semi-fixed, 2.4 Tbps, 32 or 48 x SFP28 + 8 x QSFP28 plus three module bays, dual Routing Engines, GNSS/BITS timing.
ACX7509: 5U modular, eight line-card slots, 1GbE to 400GbE, base or redundant premium bundles.
ACX5448: 1U, 800 Gbps, 48 x 10GbE + 4 x 100GbE, Junos OS, no Juniper end-of-life announcement.
ACX2200 / ACX2100: fanless 1U access routers; Juniper last order June 28, 2024, end of support June 28, 2029.
