The Juniper ACX2200 is a fanless 1U universal metro access router designed for passive cooling in outdoor and extreme-weather deployments, with four Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports, four Gigabit Ethernet combination ports (RJ-45 or SFP), two Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports, and two 10GbE SFP+ ports. It runs Junos OS and supports IEEE 1588v2 client clocking, Synchronous Ethernet, and a BITS external clock interface, which is why it is common in mobile backhaul and business/residential access networks. Juniper announced end of life on June 28, 2023: last order June 28, 2024, end of support June 28, 2029.
New units are no longer available from Juniper, so refurbished ACX2200s are the way to keep installed fleets running through 2029; we supply AC and DC versions. For new access sites the current-generation option is the ACX7024 (industrial-rated, 24 x SFP28 + 4 x QSFP28, Junos OS Evolved).

Yes. Juniper announced EOL on June 28, 2023; last order was June 28, 2024 and end of support is June 28, 2029.
Yes; Juniper’s hardware guide describes it as a fanless model with passive cooling for outdoor deployments.
Juniper’s EOL table does not name a replacement; the ACX7024 is Juniper’s current compact access router in the same role.
