Juniper SCBE3-MX Switch Control Board

The SCBE3-MX is a Third Generation switch control board for the MX240, MX480, and MX960 router platforms, provides fabric bandwidth of up to 1 Tbps per slot in a redundant configuration.  It is commonly paired with a RE-S-X6-64 routing engine and a MX240-BP3, MX480-BP3, or MX960-BP3 chassis.  Also, organizations looking to take advantage of using the new and popular MPC10E-15C-MRATE or MPC10E-10C-MRATE blades will be using the SCBE3-MX in their configuration.

The SCBE3-MX has two 10GE/1GE SFP+ ethernet ports as well as one RJ-45 GPS external clock interface port.  It supports a wide variety of MPC blades , including MPC3E-NG, MPC4E, MPC5E, MPC7E and MPC10E, as well as all of those MPC’s compatible MICs.
